Height & Age Requirements:
Horseback riders must be 4 feet tall & 8 years old. Exceptions are made for 7 years olds that have had 10 hours of riding experience. There is a weight restriction of 230 pounds.

Late Spring through early Winter- in addition to horseback riding, The Farm By the River Bed and Breakfast with stables offers a romantic Victorian Carriage Ride or a Wagon ride on our scenic acreage. Perfect in the Fall. Experience a kaleidoscope of color through our 70 acres-11 of which is in mature Maple Sugar tree stands. Both rides are 45 min. long. By appt only. Pony rides are available also.

Perfect for asking that special person that very important question, or for elopements and weddings. Holds up to 4-5 people. Our resident innkeeper is a Justice of the Peace. $85 for 2 people, $120 for 4. The wagon can hold up to 16-18 people. For larger groups two wagons are available. Perfect for large family groups or group retreat. Adults$15, children 11-3, $10, under 3 free.

The "Big Red Sleigh" Holds up to 16 : $15 12yrs. & over, $10 child 11-3 yrs, under 3 free.

While Staying at the Inn... besides receiving a special rate at the stables, our guests enjoy additional on-site amenities: snowshoeing, fly fishing, river swimming, nature walks, the gardens, birds and other wildlife. Winter guests can enjoy taking a sleigh ride, horseback ride or go SNOWSHOEING. At the Farm By the River B and B Complimentary snowshoes provided to inn guests to use on- site .

Summer, inn guests can enjoy a full breakfast on the patio deck overlooking the perennial gardens or take a picnic lunch to the river, sun bathe, or if you are feeling more energetic go SWIMMING.

1/2 mile of Saco river frontage for fly-fishing and swimming.

Spring, inn guests can FLY FISH for native & stocked trout on our Saco River frontage. Or relax on the covered porch and experience the fragrance of our old-fashioned Lilac trees which are over 50 years old. See Nearby Activities for more things to do in the area.

Fall- Whether on foot or by horse, guests enjoy 11 acres of Maple sugar Stands along the Saco River or let the resident innkeepers plan your White Mountain tours through back country roads, and visit their favorite New England stops.

From Rte. 16 from North Conway Village Center, go North onto Rte. 16, turn left onto River Road, go one mile, then turn left onto West side rd. and go 1.25 miles. The Stables at the Farm By the River is on your left.
