Reservations & Cancellations must be made by phone only

 1 Hr. Horseback Ride ,  45 minute Carriage and Wagon Rides.  Pony rides available by appt .only

Rides Depart Daily: 10:00 & 11:30 am & 1:00, 2:30, & 4:00 pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure times for all rides carriage, wagon and horseback riding.3 hr. Cancellation Policy- Groups of more than 6 people- a 4 hr. cancellation is required. 

Horseback Rides: Age, Weight & Health Requirements: Horseback riders must be 8 years old. Exceptions are made for 7 years olds that have had 10 hours of riding experience. For safety reasons the rider, should be healthy enough to be able to get on and off the horse with minimal assistance. For the safety of the rider & horse,  there is a weight restriction of 240 pounds for the rider. If in doubt, the rider will weighed. If the rider is over this limit, this misrepresentation in weight will result in forfeiture of payment. Pregnant women are not allowed to horseback ride.  

All Rides subject to change due to inclement weather & safety conditions. Call if in doubt.

While Staying at the Inn...  besides receiving a special rate at the stables, our guests enjoy additional on-site amenities: snowshoeing, fly fishing, river swimming, nature walks, the gardens, birds and other wildlife.   Winter  guests can enjoy taking a sleigh ride, horseback ride  or go SNOWSHOEING. At the Farm By the River B and B complimentary snowshoes provided to inn guests to use on- site .   Summer, inn guests can  enjoy a full breakfast on the patio deck overlooking the perennial gardens or take a picnic lunch  to the river, sun bathe, or if you are feeling more energetic go SWIMMING. 
 

Several different habitats for birds make it a great place for bird watchers. 

                            1/2 mile of Saco river frontage for fly-fishing and swimming.

  Spring, inn guests can FLY FISH for native & stocked trout on our Saco River frontage. Or relax on the covered porch and experience the fragrance of our old-fashioned Lilac trees which are over 50 years old.
